The Scream Queens of Film: Ashley Greene

Ashley Greene (born in 1987) was born in Jacksonville, Florida. As a fellow Floridian I appreciate her all the more, although Jax is not the most exciting place. For example, she’d never have seen Channing Tatum stripping in Jax. She’d have had to go to Tampa for that.
At 5’5” she’s somewhere between tall and petite. But don’t be fooled. She’s far from average. This little toughie beat up all the girls and even a few boys in her Tae Kwon Do classes when she was younger. She’s also quite lovely, an ex-model, and a smarty pants, leaving her psychology major and law ambitions for acting…by the age of only 17! It sounds to me like this martial artist, model, academic, actress is like so many of us among the “entitled generation;” she wants to do everything and won’t settle until she’s happy. And I’m happy she did!

Her career has graced horror hounds on more than one occasion beginning with Otis (2008) and—not that they should count on this list but—the Twilight Saga movies. She actually auditioned for the role of Bella in Twilight (2008), but the role went to that sulky, clueless-faced hack, Kristen Stewart! Bummer. That franchise actually could have had an attractive lead. Maybe the director just needed someone anorexic enough to avoid making Robert Pattinson look like Gandhi all glittered up.
Greene in Twilight. That hair looks great on a lot of people. Not really feelin’ it here, though.
Greene in Otis.
She later moved on to do Summer’s Blood (2009), more Twilight Saga movies, was voted #17 in FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World of 2011, and then, accordingly, wore short-shorts and lingerie throughout The Apparition (2012). Thank you for that, Ashley. I look forward to your next horror release.
Greene, in lingerie, is protected by her boyfriend from a ghost that only exists because her boyfriend decided to believe in a ghost “so that” it would exist.
Huh!?! Don’t watch this movie unless you’re a crazy-stalker Ashley Greene fan, okay.
