Written by Kevin Williamson (Scream) and directed by Robert Rodriguez (Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn), this film has aged-well because of its smart script, solid performances and original monster who loves water, and hates drugs called Scat. If drugs all had skeezy names like Scat, I wonder if fewer (or perhaps even more) people would do drugs. That name definitely turns me off. Yeeeeuck. No one who did Boy Scouts wants to ingest scat! I feel like a drug named Scat should exist in the same world as a sports drink called Brawndo. lol
