Also, we have a long discussion about the misunderstood Tina of Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, and we try to defend Busta Rhymes usage of Kung-Fu in Halloween: Resurrection (it’s very effective). Just listened and I must admit that this is the most interesting discussion about the series I’ve ever heard (for your deliberate deviation from discussions about the kills themselves). Everyone gets so caught up in discussing continuity issues or murderous stylings or brutality and death scenes that the more festively amusing nuance is all too often ignored whereas here you have shone the spotlight on the Tao of Michael Myers the supernatural individual who happens to kill–rather than the homicidal Tao of the Shape.
Michael Myers hates ice cream.
And has no respect for sheets. It’s bad enough he’s killing someone’s child… but the parents have to replace yet another set of sheets (not just the ones in the bed of the murder). What if they were nice sheets? Like, high thread count.
The dude has cut six eye holes in bed sheets throughout his killing spree. What a dork.
It’s funny. He’s so attached to his mask and Dickey onesie yet he doesn’t keep his original eye-hole-cut bedsheet as a keepsake for re-use. Just wasteful… and spiteful! haha
